Shri Imran Hussain, hails from walled city area of Delhi. Since early age, he became very active in spreading social and political awareness among the down- trodden and under privileged people especially in the walled city. Shri Imran Hussain spared no efforts as youth leader to impart social justice to the needy people. Efforts and sincerity of Shri Imran Hussain were deservingly recognized by the electorate when in election to the VIth Delhi Legislative Assembly from Ballimaran Assembly Constituency, he defeated five time sitting MLA with handsome margin.
Considering his impeccable public life, efficiency, influence and acceptance among public especially minorities, Shri Imran Hussain has been inducted in the Delhi Cabinet as a Minister of Food and Civil Supplies, and Election. He is also passionate in bringing to the fore, the issues faced by common man in Public Distribution System of Delhi and is committed to remove all prevailing glitches to make the system more consumer friendly and transparent. Similarly, his concern for environment protection, all possible measures will be adopted by him to safeguard the environment of Delhi to make it neat and clean for present and times to come.
