It is a prestigious institute fully financed and controlled by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of  Delhi and is catering Ayurveda health services, education and research.The  admission capacity of institute for Ayurvedacharya degree (graduate course -B.A.M.S.) is 100.The institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha  University, recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine and approved by  Department of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
