| The concept of Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC-21) was conceived in the first meeting of the four asian cities (Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Seoul & Delhi) in Kuala Lumpur on 28/08/2000. |
| The idea was to provide an intercity network of asian capitals and major cities which by strengthening bonds and to co-operations among among major asian cities, enhances the international profile of asia and undertakes joint projects on common tasks such as crises management, enviornment management and industrial development, applying the out comes acheieve towards the prosperity and development of Asian region. |
